Location
The small village of Gilmorton in rural south Leicestershire is a highly sought-after location, with its traditional thatched cottages and pretty surrounding countryside. The village has a number of everyday amenities, including a post office, excellent village store, three public houses and a primary school.
Further afield, there are a wider range of shops and supermarkets including Waitrose at Lutterworth, while Leicester provides a wealth of shopping and entertainment options. There are excellent transport links, with the M1 and M6 within easy reach and fast rail links to London from Leicester or Rugby or Market Harborough.
Directions
From Market Harborough take the A4304 west passing through Husbands Bosworth and North Kilworth. About a quarter of a mile beyond North Kilworth turn right onto Kilworth Road and then after 1.7 miles take a left on Gurney Lane. Pass through the village of Kimcote and, after about a mile take the next right turn signposted to Gilmorton.
On entering the village follow Main Street and Church lane is on the left just after The Red Lion Public House. Moatfield is located at the end of the lane on the right.
