Are looking for a spacious home with a striking open plan layout that was recently built, with two double bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms (yes we said two!), there’s a downstairs cloakroom, a kitchen to die for & luxury under floor heating throughout the ground floor..….This really is the NewHome4U

Well may be you would you like to view this home personally…..The good thing about NewHome4U is, we open 7 days a week and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’
Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on the recently completed Redrow development on the Drury side of Buckley, this home is something a bit special. Rarely does the phrase “two bedroom semi-detached” get anyone excited but here is an excellent example of why we should never judge a book by its cover. From the unusual but very attractive and practical open plan layout to the unashamed luxury of the large bedrooms with their individual en-suite bathrooms this is a home that over-delivers on expectations at every turn.
A double size car parking space takes care of the automotive needs while an area of various shrubs separates this from the house and adds a splash of colour.
Opening the wooden front door with its decorative frosted glass central panel allows us into the entrance lobby where, immediately on our right we find the downstairs cloakroom. This provides handy storage for coats, or even cloaks if you prefer… and also contains a corner mounted hand basin and lavatory. This, like the lobby, is floored with a wood laminate of a sufficient quality to make you check to see if is actually laminate at all, and this is continued throughout the entire ground floor.
Stepping through the other door reveals the open plan dining room, kitchen and lounge. It manages the seemingly impossible trick of feeling welcoming, intimate and at the risk of sounding clichéd, cosy. Nor is this description an illusion, as this huge space is kept warm and snug by magic…..Ok not quite magic but by under floor heating..... But the effect is much the same. The upstairs is fitted with conventional radiators, powered from the same gas combi boiler that provides the hot water.
Immediately to our left is the dining room area. This is a large space, easily capable of accommodating a big table and various sizeable pieces of furniture and is kept nice and bright by the large picture window to the front of the home.
Moving through to the kitchen you have the unmistakable feeling that you have stepped into the pages of a glossy magazine. This is dominated by a huge central island housing the sink and draining board while underneath, sits the integrated dish washer. Various units provide storage and the whole is topped with an attractive dark grey marble effect worktop. The wall behind the island continues the theme of sheer quality. A symmetrical set of units presents the hob to the centre with it s extractor hood over and a generous amount of storage to be found in the various sizes of easy closing drawers beneath. To either side of this stand two towers, one containing the integrated fridge and freezer and the other, the oven and microwave along with further storage.
Now that’s all well and good, I hear you thinking, but what about the washing machine? Well in the wall opposite the kitchen is another door, concealing the washing machine and tumble drier neatly encapsulated in their vented utility cupboard, out of sight and out of mind. Not only that but the heat generated provides a very generous airing cupboard.
We now move into the lounge area. This is again more spacious than you would expect the lounge in a more conventional home of this type to be and this feeling of space is accentuated by the large sliding patio doors that open onto the raised decking stretching across the full width of the home.
This in turn plays host to the short flight of steps leading down onto the formal garden, with its decorative gravel paths and Astro turf lawn minimising any necessary maintenance. There is a large paved square bounded by wooden fencing which serves as a very pleasant dining area for the many BBQs that this home is certain to find itself hosting. To match the holiday mood, a large palm tree provides welcome shade from the excesses of global warming and finally, in a stroke of genuine class there is an eye catching water feature in the centre of it all, in the form of a polished steel sphere, which spouts water from its top which then cascades down the side with a very satisfying sound - you know, people pay good money to live near that sound in the woods.
Returning indoors, we notice that the side wall of the lounge is given over completely to fitted cupboards, stretching from floor to ceiling. These, being about two feet deep provide the storage that the essentially minimalist appearance of the home would lead you to believe was missing. I said earlier that this home is practical.
Climbing the stairs to the wide landing, we find another cupboard which, containing the modern gas combi boiler, also provides excellent linen storage. Moving to the front of the home, we find the smaller of the bedrooms. You’ll notice I say ‘smaller’ but there is nothing whatever small about it. This is a comfortable double bedroom, made all the more special by the mirror fronted fitted wardrobes that virtually fill one wall and then, there is the en-suite. All too often homes that boast of having multiple bathrooms justify the title by cramming a basin, lavatory and shower into a space the size of a phone box, but not here. This is bigger than many ‘family bathrooms’ offered by rival builders and is beautifully appointed with very attractive tile work and a quite enormous wet room style power shower fed directly from the mains via the combi boiler.
Finally we come to the master bedroom. Overlooking the garden and providing even more space than its counterpart, this is supplemented by similar sized fitted wardrobes and offers an en-suite that is pure luxury. Another wet room style power shower is separated from the body of the room by a glass screen and is of a size that makes showering an entire hockey team a distinct possibility. The whole room is kept snug by the large vertical heated towel rail / radiator.

All in all this home is a step into the future. The open plan layout is reminiscent of a film director’s vision of how we will all be living shortly and is an ideal home for entertaining friends. When I arrived on a wet and chilly day, i removed my shoes and immediately felt the underfloor heating, which was a revelation. As this home has been freshly built (not that old) and it's been constructed to the highest standards of thermal efficiency, demonstrated by the minimal running costs. The size of the bedrooms and the standard of the fittings in their individual en-suite bathrooms is positively hedonistic and belie the fact that you are in an affordable semi detached with all the mod-cons, so If two beds are all you need and the location suits.....You owe it to yourself to see this one.
