Property Description

If you are looking for a modern two bed semi detached home in walking distance of Buckley town centre with all its shops, supermarkets and facilities, convenient for schools making it ideal for a small family, with a large lounge, and fabulous fitted kitchen/diner……then we really do have a NewHome4U

Come to our office for free Independent mortgage advice or just email or even ‘call': Do you like the photos? Well may be you would you like to view this home personally…..The good thing about NewHome4U is, we open 7 days a week and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’

Situated just off Jubilee Road, virtually within sight of Aldi (not often you read that and think it is a good thing…) this home would be ideal for a first time buyer, a small family or indeed, someone at the other end of the home owning road who is downsizing. The left half of a modern set of semis, unusually for a home of this type it offers both plentiful off road parking and its own detached garage. It is this, coupled with the enclosed and private rear garden that makes it feel larger than it is and adds to its appeal as a family home.

Approached up its individual driveway running beside the open plan front lawn, the home’s front door it sited in a small brick porch. Opening the semi glazed wood door takes us into the small square lobby with its attractive decorative round window, an ideal place for coats, shoes and all the stuff you’d prefer not to keep dripping on the carpets.

Entering the lounge comes as a surprise. From initial impressions I had not expected anything like so large a room as the comfortable family oriented space I found myself in. A large picture window overlooks the front lawn and spreads a great deal of light throughout the room, adding to the appeal. There is a large feature fireplace against one wall, housing an electric living flame effect fire, as part of the all electric heating system. Normally, we tend to shy away from electric systems, fearful of perceived problems with running costs but the current modern heaters are far, far cheaper to run than those of old and thus, nothing to be scared of. This room also contains the staircase but again, is large enough to allow for this without feeling at all overpowered.

Another door opens into the large kitchen/diner with its attractive and high quality wood laminate floor, beneath which lurks its secret surprise: Under-floor heating. Becoming more common in newer properties, this is something that once you have experienced, nothing will be as good again. If you view this home on a cold day, keep your shoes on or you may not be able to trust your judgement….
Once again this room comes as a pleasant surprise, being large enough to easily hold a useful sized dining table at one end beside the French doors that open into the enclosed rear garden. The fitted kitchen units are of a good quality and in immaculate condition, allowing for a large fridge/freezer and automatic washing machine to be included. The cooker is of the type where there is an electric hob set into the work top, with an oven integrated into the unit beneath.
The whole room gives an air of comfort and efficiency while more importantly, remaining a welcoming room; somewhere to sit and chew the fat. The kitchen is always the heart of the home, they say. Here, I can well believe it.

Stepping through the French doors and into the garden we find a small patio area, just enough to allow for those summer evenings where the kitchen conversation moves out into the fresh air, with perhaps even a bbq. The main part of the garden is laid to lawn for ease of maintenance and being at one of Buckley’s highest points, there are batter and more extensive views than you would expect.

Back indoors and upstairs, we turn left into the front bedroom. This is a large and comfortable room, kept disproportionately light by the twin windows and having sufficient space to accommodate a huge free standing wardrobe as well as the usual bedroom furniture. As if this were not enough, there is supplementary storage to be found in the double-doored airing cupboard which, although also home to the hot water tank still offers masses of room.

Straight back across the landing, we find the bathroom. Very nicely appointed and fully tiled from floor to ceiling, the suite comprises of a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and bath with a glass screen to protect the whole from the splashes of the electric shower over.

And finally we find the rear bedroom. Obviously not as big as its cousin it could, at a pinch, be classed as a double room although choices of free standing furniture may be a little limited. If treated as a single however, there is more room than a child or teenager could ever need, making this a genuine family home.
