The Property
Broomhill is an end of terrace, believed to have been built in the 1970s, as part of a small development close to the centre of the village. In recent years, UPVC sealed unit double-glazed windows have been installed, and the kitchen has been refitted. That said, most purchasers will budget to carry out some cosmetic renewal.
The interior is characterised by plenty of natural light, and all rooms enjoy an outlook over
a lovely garden.
Outside
There are large gardens, both front and rear, principally down to lawn and enclosed either by stone walls or mature hedges and trees. At the end of the rear garden is a single garage, and the scope to provide additional parking adjacent to the garage should that be needed.
Situation
The property is peacefully tucked away in a generally secluded plot, close to the centre of the highly
sought-after village of Nether Compton. Broomhill is approached over a private gravelled road, shared with other properties which sweeps round to the rear. This driveway also gives access to the village playing field. Nether Compton has a church and pub, and is nestled in the wooded valley on the Somerset/Dorset border roughly equidistant between the regional centre of Yeovil and the Abbey town of Sherborne. Both towns have a good range of shops and business facilities, and mainline railway stations connecting with London Waterloo.
Directions
From the centre of Nether Compton with the church on your right, proceed past the village green, also on your right, and bear right at the Griffins Head pub. After turning right, take the first entrance drive on the right into a gravelled private road, flanked by hedges. Continue round to the right, into a gravelled area and the garage for Broomhill is the furthest on the left.
