Property Description

Looking for a totally unique family home with large front garden & some spectacular elevated views over the valley from the rear, large kitchen/breakfast room, a spiral staircase rising from the lounge to the open gallery landing leading to the 3 double bedrooms……..Then we really do have a NewHome4U

Come to our office for free Independent mortgage advice or just email or even ‘call': Do you like the photos? Well may be you would you like to view this home personally…..The good thing about NewHome4U is, we open 7 days a week and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’

Nestled away into a very generous sized plot in Gwynfryn, is this very quirky and beautifully finished three double bedroom detached family home that offers so much more than your typical place, with loads of parking and some amazing views.

As you turn into the driveway for this totally unique family home, you’ll notice that there is a large front garden which if i’m being totally honest, really isn’t being used to its fullest potential. It’s got loads of parking, which with a little bit of imagination (and money) you could make a nice golden gravelled driveway and stick a small roundabout in the middle, which could be made out of railway sleepers with a flower bed in the middle....Now this would enhance the front entrance tenfold. We appreciate that thist costs money, but nobody says it needs to be done immediately, it can be done over time. Electric gates would also make a massive difference to the entrance when you drive in.

There is ample space to park numerous vehicles and then there are two raised areas of decking and lawns, allowing you plenty of space to sit outside in the front, where you can sit and admire the views and pleasant surroundings from within your grounds.

There are two ways to enter this home, through the front door or via the patio doors in the conservatory, so spoilt for choice. Let’s take the usual walk through the front door, approached via steps leading from the lower driveway, up to a patio that runs like a river between the two substantial areas of decking.

A large entrance porch sits at the start of this unusual but very quirky and ever so interesting home. Walking through the front door you enter into the porch / entrance hallway. A great sized room and an ideal space for the wet coats, shoes and umbrellas on those usual rainy days that we get most years. To the rear of this room is a decent sized utility room that is houses the oil fired boiler.

From the hallway you enter the very generous sized and stylish kitchen / breakfast / dining room. At almost 20ft x 11ft, this really is an excellent room for entertaining numerous friends and family who’ll flock here at Christmas, Birthdays or to be honest, any opportunity that they can find to come round. This is a bright and airy room, given to the fact that it has dual aspect windows, where you can also admire your outlook but which also helps lets the light flood in. Work surfaces cover three walls, allowing plenty of space for food preparation and also modern day kitchen appliances. There’s a small breakfast bar for those quick snacks or a larger void reserved for a table and chairs for the main dinners and parties – this room was designed so that whoever was cooking the meal, wouldn’t miss out on any of the action. Loads of storage cupboards both floor and wall mounted, voids and plumbing for washing machine, dishwasher, large range cooker, space for huge American style fridge freezer…..Everything you normally find in a kitchen can fit in here easily……and some!

From the dining end of the kitchen, you walk out into the living room, which again is another wow moment. The first thing that you’ll notice (there are so many things in this home to notice) is the spiral staircase that leads from the lounge to the first floor gallery landing, making another real feature of this home. The spiral stairs are another real piece of genius, as it saves space and offers what no other homes offers….Or very few anyway. An exposed brick fireplace makes another feature of this room and is home to a multi-fuel cast iron burner, which will help to keep this whole home nice and toasty during the cold winter months and with stylish wood-effect flooring, sets the mood for this amazing space. Again this is a double aspect room, with a large window at one end and patio doors at the other which lead out to the conservatory / summer room.

Before we go into the conservatory, I must point out that just off the lounge, is a handy downstairs cloakroom with wash hand basin and toilet. Now this just saves people traipsing up and down your gorgeous spiral staircase to use your toilet on the gallery landing - although I bet most people will ignore the cloakroom as they’ll want to use your beautiful staircase – but at least it’s there if they want to use it!

Ok, now to the conservatory….This room is used mostly by the present owner during the summer months as it’s a bright warm space to sit and enjoy the views over your front garden, doors open out onto one area of raised decking, making this a great place to socialise with a glass of wine or unwind at the end of the day with a good book – or if you have children, you can sit and watch them play in the ample front grounds.

Back inside and up the spiral staircase to the gallery landing. From here you can look down into the lounge, watching the burning embers of your fire in your log burner as it dies down at the end of the night, giving an amber glow around the room as you descend to your bed after another great night in this fabulous home.

There are three very decent sized double bedrooms, a storage cupboard and a very large family bathroom just off the landing. The impressive family bathroom has a glass fronted walk in double shower, there are his and hers matching bowl sinks that sit on top of hand crafted wooden tables, obviously there’s a toilet and a large frosted window for light……a well thought out room which I can only imagine, would be a nice place to wake up to every day.

You could, if you really wanted an en-suite, you could ether convert the existing bathroom into two, there is a large cupboard which i’m sure could come in handy while converting, but my advice would be, get a professional builder around to see how easily this can be done.

Ok, now let’s go outside….
I think the front garden has been explained but to recount, there are two raised areas of decking either side of the home, ideal for alfresco dining, bbq season or just plain old sunbathing, There are areas of lawn either side of the decking, and more space to park cars, caravan or motorhomes then you can shake a stick at! In my opinion, you could do so much more to the front to make what is already a very appealing family home, into something even better…..Electric gates at the front entrance to welcome you in, cream shingle on the driveway, a min roundabout to create a majestic turning circle, i’ve even had our photographer create a photoshop image of what the home would look like on the outside if it was rendered and painted white or cream (**see photo where home is white to get an idea**) – but this is for your own personal choice…..

Now the rear garden is a little slice of unseen heaven, I say unseen because it’s exactly that…..Unseen, due to the brambles, nettles and long grass. Now you’ll understand why it’s got like this, once you’ve come and had a look at the inside of this stunning home You will see that they’ve been busy making the inside look amazing, the outside was next on the list! So the rear garden is, I believe, on 3 or 4 tiers leading up the bank to the top, where if you got planning permission - not sure if it’s required or not but best to check with the local planning officer first – but if you could, it would be great to build a nice wooden summer house, or even put a gazebo with a jacuzzi in it up at the top of this vantage point. The views from here of the valley below are absolutely stunning, I mean, views like this are rare and where I come from, people pay good money for. So for me a good tidy up of this land, will add a real bonus to this already unique family home….It’s a place where you can sit out and enjoy many a day and night up there and never get bored!
