Internal accommodation covers almost 1000 Sq. Ft over two floors.
This beautifully assembled Victorian cottage can be found on a quiet leafy street in a lovely neighbourhood known as the Tower Gardens Conservation area, a great up-and-coming spot in N17 popular amongst first time buyers and young families looking for an affordable freehold family house.
The ground floor consists of a spacious hall, two good size living rooms and separate kitchen opening on to a mature approx. 44 ft. Rear garden. The upper floor has three bedrooms, a first floor bathroom and access to a large storage loft. Early viewing is highly recommended.
The house is within the catchment area of the Ofsted Outstanding Willow Primary School.
Positioned off Lordship Lane with convenient access to Wood Green and Turnpike Lane Underground St (Piccadilly Line Zone 3). Within a couple of minutes there are bus routes with connections into central London and a new Sainsbury's Local store. Lordship recreation ground is within one minute walking distance while Downhills Park and Bruce Castle Park are both within one mile.
Sellers thoughts -
I have spent 12 very happy years living here. The area is very calm and peaceful and, although tucked away, access to central London is easy via Wood Green, Turnpike Lane and Seven Sisters Tube, all of which are a short bus ride away.
The area is well served for green spaces, with Lordship Rec being a favourite. There are fantastic playgrounds for children, a thriving cafe and even a miniature road network for learning to cycle! Downhills Park, another lovely space, has a great cafe.
The local shops have recently been renovated and there is now an excellent grocers, selling everything from Turkish and Mediterranean produce to organic food and drink. The Westbury Arms is a great pub near to Turnpike Lane, which is around a 15 minute walk away. The Antwerp Arms is another nice local, tucked away behind Bruce Castle Park.
One of my favourite aspects of the house is the view from the bathroom window over the Tower Gardens Park. Watching the seasons change and listening to the birdsong have been a perennial delight. We have been blessed with good neighbours all around the house who have made this area feel like a proper community.
