Beneath the stairs is a very large storage cupboard, easily accommodating coats, wellies, Hoovers and any other assorted ‘stuff’ you may wish to hide away.

The lounge itself is of a generous size for this type of home with a large window to the front with excellent quality double glazing.

A broad doorway leads through to the kitchen-dining room. This is again generously proportioned, spreading as it does across the full width of the home and is well able to contain a dining table worthy of the name without compromising the kitchen area in any way.

The kitchen is well equipped with integrated fridge, freezer and washing machine with the gas combi boiler concealed in one of the upper kitchen cupboards. Everything is in the sort of condition you would expect given its age (or lack of it) but it is still refreshing to see a home so fastidiously maintained.

A large set of French doors lead from the dining room out into the enclosed rear garden; the size of which comes as a bit of a surprise. Generally speaking, town houses this close to a city centre come with very limited amounts of garden space, with any more room than is taken up by a couple of chairs and a bbq being a real luxury. This is a very comfortable single and could even, at a pinch contain a double bed though the space for other furniture would be limited.

Finally we come to the master bedroom and this comes as a real surprise. Where the rest of this home has leant towards the ‘compact’ style of living, this deceptively large bedroom bucks the trend. It achieves this by providing a space to the left of the door as you enter, which easily contains a large wardrobe and chest of drawers, leaving the rest of the room with nothing to contain but the bed.
