Our Seller Says…
'The moment we walked in to the property in 2014 we knew we were going to buy it. We'd viewed dozens of properties in the area and were amazed at the size and proportions of the apartment. The high ceilings and large windows generate plenty of light and feeling of space. The property has stunning views across Bristol, providing an armchair view of firework displays and the famous Bristol Balloon ascents. The road itself is very quiet due to bollard installation effectively creating a cul de sac for vehicles and the residents parking scheme ensures nearby parking spaces are always available.
We have upgraded several aspects of the property including removal of woodchip wallpaper and installing new top layer wood flooring in the lounge, hallway & master bedrooms, as well as laying floor tiling in the kitchen. We have also fully refurbished the bathroom with a new suite and grey natural stone tiling.
The location of the property is fantastic with plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away on Gloucester Road and Cotham Hill. Bristol City Centre and the commute to the Bristol Royal Infirmary is only a 10 minute walk. There are several parks close by including Cotham Gardens, Redland Green, St Andrews and the Downs. Take a 1 minute walk and you will find plenty of independent cafes for coffee or brunch, many of which cater for vegans.
The building is divided into four apartments and each property has an equal share of the Leasehold and Management Company. Our neighbours in the other three apartments are very friendly and ensure communal areas are kept tidy. One of the unique benefits of our leasehold is the permission to keep pets and we have lived with our dog at the property for the last four years. We will be very sad to leave our home and its fantastic location. We hope the new owners will love living there as much as we have and reap the benefits.'
