Property Description

If you are looking for an immaculate and highly individual 5 bedroom home in extensive grounds at the end of a private tree lined drive, with a kitchen fit for a trainee MasterChef, two bathrooms, an en-suite to the master and a balcony overlooking your domain … then we really do have a NewHome4U

Come to our office for free Independent mortgage advice open 7 days a week or just email or even ‘call': Do you like the photos? Well may be you would you like to view this home personally because, one of the best things about NewHome4U is, we open 7 days a week and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can view, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’

Every now and then a home comes along that truly takes your breath away; Sitting in an approximately and acre of land this is one of those. Situated at the end of a small cul-de-sac giving access to only three other homes and sufficiently remote from these to be able to ignore their presence, this offers living on the grand scale.

Conveniently sited for access to Mold and all its facilities for work and pleasure, yet sitting on the edge of some of the finest scenery North Wales has to offer, which is saying a lot, in fact I struggle to think of a disadvantage to living here.

We approach this remarkable home along its own tree lined driveway (I almost said ‘boulevard’ but that sounded too pretentious…) with its manicured lawns to either side and immaculate hedges lining the perimeter. In front of the home the drive widens out to provide both an immense space for vehicles turning and access to the integral double garage. The actual front of the home features a full width veranda which has been enclosed by a low wall and large windows, making a wide outer porch that provides protection from the elements.

Opening the wood effect UPVC glazed front door puts us on the full width veranda where, to our left is a door into the integral double garage with its electric powered roller shutter. The veranda also provides a handy place for wet coats and boots which are always best kept out of the inner sanctum. The floor in here is covered in stone effect ceramic tiles which continue through the main front door and into the hallway.

This is a broad and welcoming space where to our left we find an imposing pair of double doors leading into the lounge. This sets the tone for what is to follow in the lovely home, with its double aspect windows letting light flood in and where, in a bare brick feature wall nestles a large multi fuel fire. This will guarantee not only warm evenings, but also the welcoming glow that only a real flame can offer. The windows to the rear of the room sit either side of a set of French doors which in turn open onto a block paved walkway / patio running beside the house and overlooking the stunning grounds; but more of those later.

Another door takes us through into the secondary sitting room and it is here that the home begins to display its versatility. This sitting room, although far smaller than the main lounge would still make a good lounge in any normal home and features a similar set of French doors with an identical view. Opening the other door in here reveals the rear staircase and it slowly dawns that this is in effect, a separate dwelling. Ideally suited to an elderly relative or perhaps a growing teenager eager to spread their wings and branch out into independent living, but not yet ready to do so without remaining under the parental eye.

Up the stairs we find a large and comfortable double bedroom with double aspect dormer style windows and its own en-suite facilities. Additional storage is catered for by small Hobbit type doors allowing access into the boarded space in the eaves.

Returning to the hall, opposite the front door we find the formal dining room. This is everything you could ask of somewhere to enjoy the fruits of the cook’s labours and, should the weather allow it, the sensation of al fresco dining is available by opening yet another French door to the garden, which is a sheltered area under the maion bedroom balcony.

A door to the side of this room opens into the kitchen and this is where this home assumes another level. Sorry, i’m even sounding like Greg Wallace, Heaven forbid. Attractive and practical ceramic tiles cover the floor, while light oak units with their granite work tops stretch around four sides. A massive range style cooker with its induction hob takes pride of place on one wall, The sink, cut into the marble top overlooks the garden, taking the drudgery out of any washing up that fails to fit into the large dishwasher. This is a kitchen to be proud of and one that befits this stylish home.

A door in the far side allows us into the utility room which houses the oil fired central heating boiler along with a continuation of the oak units from the kitchen. These also conceal a large chest freezer, the dishwasher and an automatic washing machine. The stylish wooden work surfaces also contain a real Belfast sink and various labour saving devices that failed to find a home in the main kitchen. The whole is finished off by a traditional stable door looking out over the lovely gardens.

Returning to the main hall we find a downstairs bathroom opposite the kitchen door. This is tastefully appointed with its grey ceramic floor tiles, modern contemporary unit housing the hand basin and lavatory, while the walk-in shower completes the ensemble. This is an interesting shower, featuring both a normal electric shower and, operating on a separate system a power shower. This means never having to dance around when the heat fails you in mid ablution which is always reassuring.

Adjacent to here is a very comfortable home office, overlooking the front of the home and making the daily grind of getting to work a thing of the past for some lucky owner.

Climbing the open tread wooden main staircase takes us to a broad landing where facing us, is the first of the double bedrooms. This overlooks the sweeping front drive and is kept very light by its two feature windows. It is amply large and, as if it were necessary, seeks to maximise its space by the use of a large fitted vanity unit also housing a dressing table while clothes storage is ably catered for by the large fitted wardrobes.

Adjacent to here is another double room, this time overlooking the gardens. This again, is a big room that takes advantage of similar fitted furniture and does so to great effect with the mirror front to the wardrobes maximising the feeling of space.

Next door to here and also facing the rear of the home is a single bedroom. Although as it currently contains a three quarter bed and does so with ease, some may be tempted to call it a double but I would prefer to think of it as a luxurious single. This room also contains fitted wardrobes.

At the other end of the landing is the family bathroom. This is the sort of room you expect to find in a high end hotel. Ceramic floored and featuring the full complement of hand basin (set into a large vanity unit), lavatory, bidet, walk-in shower cubicle with power shower and a corner fitted spa bath. In fact there is something here for every taste and occasion.

Finally, next door to here we come to the master bedroom. Now that is a term too freely bandied about in my opinion but here, it is the only one to do this room justice. A superking sized bed appears almost lost such is its scale, allowing for free standing chests of drawers and a dressing table to sit in front of the picture window taking in the view. Masses of storage for clothes is to be found in the huge fitted wardrobes, beside which is the door to the en-suite. There are many ‘Executive’ homes on the market in which this would be marketed as a family bathroom but here it is merely more luxury. As if that needs any justification…. Featuring a Karndean tiled floor it offers a hand basin, lavatory and bidet set into a contemporary vanity unit along with a large walk-in shower with the now familiar twin systems of electric and gravity fed power showers.

Back in to the bedroom we find a set of French doors opening onto a large balcony overlooking the stunning, varied and extensive gardens, with Hope Mountain and Blaenau Hill making up the skyline. Now, unless this description is going to run to several volumes, it is impossible to do these gardens justice so I will simply advise you to look at the photographs. Having done that, call the office to make an appointment for a guided tour; I am sure you will not be disappointed.
