A unique and charming Grade II listed detached period cottage in a favoured South Farnham location. Formerly a farm workers cottage, the property is believed to date back to the 17th century and boasts a number of character features including exposed brickwork and beams throughout, as well as an inglenook fireplace in the living room. Subject to the necessary planning there is significant scope to extend the property out to the rear, whilst still maintaining a large garden. Current accommodation is approached via the rear, with an entrance hall leading first to the cloakroom and the utility room, or through to the kitchen. The cottage style kitchen offers plenty of cupboard space and has the staircase leading to the first floor or access through to the living room, which in turn leads to the dining room which opens to the rear garden. To the first floor are two bedrooms; the master being a generous double with built in wardrobe space, as well as a shower room.
Outside
The property is approached via the rear, as despite the front door still being present it is out of use and boarded up from inside; one of the quirks of the property being Grade II listed. The rear garden is an excellent size and has the ability to be particularly private with the addition of new fencing or hedging; the parking is also accessed towards the rear, with an off road parking area next to the property itself.
