Property Description

Wow – are you looking for a detached 4 bed home where children or grandchildren can grow up in an environment guaranteed to keep imaginations busy while you relax, fabulously appointed, huge conservatory, double garage & with a garden that most people can only ever dream of…….This is the NewHome4U!

Come to our office for free Independent mortgage advice or just email or even ‘call': Do you like the photos? Well may be you would you like to view this home personally…..The good thing about NewHome4U is, we open 7 days a week and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’

We at NewHome4U are privileged to see the inside of many different homes but there are always some that take you completely by surprise and this is one of them. Conveniently sited near to the Spar shop in Bistre this looks from the outside to be an immaculately kept but fairly standard home of its type. But then you scratch the surface…..

A wide driveway runs straight up to the detached double garage with its broad up and over doors, while to the front of the home colourful beds of flowering shrubs give a degree of privacy and further colour is provided by various plants and shrubs in decorative pots.

A small porch protects the imposing front door which in turn gives access to the wide and welcoming hallway. This is floored in ceramic tiles with a rustic stone effect, providing an easy to clean surface that is impervious to the knocks and bangs of family life. Immediately to the right is the front lounge which, with its quality wood laminate floor, large bay window pulling in light as only a bay window can and living flame gas fire mounted in an ornate wooden hearth and fireplace, is simply a lovely place to be.

To the far wall is the entrance to a small corridor which leads into the ground floor extension with its large storage cupboard and door into the huge bedroom beyond. This has a window over the front garden and offers a truly vast amount of room, perfect for an elderly relative, or perhaps a noisy teenager not yet ripe to fly the nest.

Moving back through to the hall, past the massive under-stair storage cupboard we again turn right, this time into the rear lounge. This comfortably carpeted room features a large bare brick chimney breast and fireplace, containing a gas powered living flame effect ‘log burner’ which was installed new last December. To the rear is a set of French doors opening into the vast conservatory to the rear of the home.

The hall now leads into the small and cosy dining room with a leaded window to the side and access to another short corridor leading to the downstairs cloakroom and conservatory door. Beyond the corridor is the stunning kitchen, all this area being floored in a continuation of the tiles from the hallway. The kitchen features granite worktops that go all around the entire room and contain a genuine Belfast sink. The oak units and cupboards feature integrated appliances and offer a fridge, freezer and dishwasher, while brick effect tiles give an attractive rustic appearance to this stylish room. There is also a large gas/electric range cooker that along with the other appliances, will be included in the sale.

Alongside the kitchen and visible through its windows, is the huge conservatory with its attractive and easily maintained ceramic tiled floor. At the far end is a door into the utility room, containing a sink, washer, drier, another fridge, another freezer and more storage than you can shake a stick at.
Stepping out of the conservatory into the garden, I was stunned into silence. As I said earlier, from the road this appears a fairly normal home but believe me, this is not normal. The garden is separated into various areas, each with its own style and theme. There are areas given over to thick shrubbery, treed sections, open stretches of lawn with decorative saplings set in at intervals and interspersed with classical statues, (yes, honestly), a pond with its own wooden bridge crossing it, decorative areas of patterned paving beneath gazebos, a thousand and one places for a child (or an adult) to hide, a paved patio festooned in flowering pots and saplings and hidden away in one corner., a glass greenhouse to ensure a steady supply of fresh plants to keep things ship shape.

Back into the hallway and up stairs, we come to a side window providing light onto the landing. This is a thing of rare beauty with its attractive leading and bright colouring, adding a further touch of class as if any more were needed.

To the front of the home is the smallest of the bedrooms. Currently used as a nursery, something it is perfect for although it could just as easily make a perfectly good single room.

Adjacent to here is the master bedroom. Overlooking the road but surprisingly quiet due to the excellent double glazing and offering a comfortable haven from the cares of the world. There is a delightful bay window with a window seat where it would be easy to imagine Elizabethan ladies busy with their needlework. A massive fitted wardrobe covers one entire wall, making storage problems a thing of the past.

Next to this is the rear facing bedroom. Of a similar size and also with a large fitted wardrobe, overlooking the fabulous garden, this is currently used as a twin room for grandchildren. The two beds demonstrating the amount of space available that would make this is a luxurious double.

Although not the largest Bathroom, this is set apart from by the norm by virtue of the sheer quality of the fittings. From the ceramic floor tiles, to the mains fed power shower this, like the rest of this delightful home screams class. Class that is illustrated by little things, like the doors for example. Throughout the home the doors are of solid wood and equipped with real old fashioned locks and handles which close with a satisfying clunk. It sounds like a small thing and in isolation it probably is, but it is indicative of the care and attention that has gone into making this lovely home what it is.

And finally the current owners have debated over the last 18 months of shall we stay or shall we go and have recently received planning permission to build an extension on the rear of the property (planning reference for this is ................., which is available to view on the Local Authority's website )

All in all this is close to being the ultimate family home. It is in an enviable position for schools, for the medical centre, the shops, in fact everything you need. Inside it is in the sort of condition we dream of, including the fitting of a brand new gas combi central heating boiler last December. It offers spacious and flexible accommodation, it has a kitchen many would kill for, a conservatory belonging in the catalogues and a garden that would not be out of place in Kew. The double garage caters for all the vehicular needs of a large family and if you couldn’t be bothered with a car, there is a bus stop just outside. It is perfect? If not, it’s very close and will sell quickly, so get in touch to view while you can.
