Located in popular and semi-rural Yorkletts, the popular seaside town of Whitstable is less than 3 miles away situated on the stunning North Kent coast, 7 miles north of the historical city of Canterbury and less than 60 miles from central London. With its quaint alley ways, colourful high street and peaceful shingle beaches this town has a lot to offer both residents and holiday makers. For entertainment there are excellent water sport facilities, plenty of art galleries, and a wealth of independently run restaurants, boutiques and cafes to enjoy along the vibrant high street.
The Crab and Winkle Way, one of the earliest passenger railways and the first ever steam-powered railway in the world, follows the disused railway line between Canterbury and Whitstable, and is now a popular walking and cycle route through woods and countryside. Road links via the A299 Thanet Way give easy access to the M2 for travel to London and beyond. Whitstable also has a main line train station providing fast and frequent links into London Victoria (1hr 30 mins) and London St Pancras (1hr 11mins).

We bought our bungalow in 2009 as we immediately fell in love with the size of the plot and the huge potential for our family. Since being here, we have installed gas central heating, new windows and doors, a sizeable extension and garage, which is a wonderful games room.
It has made for a fantastic family home, with plenty of space for entertaining both inside and out. Our garden is a lovely plot which is not overlooked in anyway – this makes for a very peaceful atmosphere, especially with the sounds of wildlife.
My son is a keen golfer and has been a member of Boughton Golf Club, which is just a five-minute drive away – it has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Living here feels like you are in the countryside, but being just a five-minute drive to Whitstable seafront, town and supermarkets gives us the best of both worlds and provides us with everything we need. We are so sad to have to sell our home and know that the next family is going to love living here as much as we do.
