Bowbrook Meadows just over two miles from Shrewsbury town centre and is just a few minutes' drive from the A5, the town's major trunk road that leads to the M54 and Telford, 14 miles away and on to the M6 and the West Midlands. Wolverhampton is approximately 36 miles and Birmingham about 50. The town is well-served by bus and coach services and has three park and rides. Trains run from Shrewsbury Railway Station to Birmingham in just under an hour as well as to Telford, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Cardiff and a new service direct to London's Euston was launched in December 2014. For air travel Manchester and Birmingham Airports are both about 64 miles.
