The garden has been the scene of many family gatherings. The self-contained log cabin has been a huge hit and has been used for parties, sleepovers and a summerhouse. The garden is very private with many areas of interest, including the formal garden and the wild area where there are a couple of little pools and fruit trees. Weve grown our own veg and have even kept chickens there too.
The location is fabulous, and for us, its all about the rolling fields and views. Weve enjoyed picnics and blackberry picking with our children and we can walk for miles in the peace and quiet without seeing another soul. The village hall is always busy with various activities, including gardening and art clubs, as well as plant sales, exercise classes, parties and summer fetes.
I love to sit at the top of the stairs and look out through the big window at the views over the fields. It never fails to take my breath away, even now after all our years of living here.
It feels like we are escaping from the stresses of a busy day when we come back to the sanctuary of home. Weve never felt isolated as we enjoy easy access to the amenities in the surrounding towns and villages.
We hosted a summer bbq with a big bouncy castle and marquee on the lawn. Our older relatives relaxed in the shade and the lawn was a joyful chaos of picnics and children bouncing.
Well miss everything about living here. Foxwood offers so much living space, yet it still feels cosy.
Outside - The property is set back from the road with ample parking space and to the rear there is a large garden with a summer house. Planning permission is in place for an l-shaped freestanding double garage and store, to the front of the property and works would be completed by any future owner.
