2 Well Hill is an exceptional example of a pretty period cottage in Minchinhampton - comfortable, attractive and practical, but with the priceless advantage of having its own off-road parking. Behind the attractive facade is a surprisingly spacious interior with good ceiling heights. The sitting room sets the theme, a cheerful room, light and airy with a wood burning stove to add warmth and character in the winter months. Off this is the well equipped shaker style kitchen, a rear porch (with door to the garden) and down stairs cloakroom. At first floor are two double bedrooms (with an ensuite bathroom and a shower room respectively) and a very versatile third room, which can be used as a child's bedroom or a study/office if working from home. The west facing garden at the rear has both paved areas and lawn and is a good size relative to the cottage, while an archway at the side of the cottage allows up to two cars to be parked in tandem, off the street.

Minchinhampton is situated between the larger market town of Cirencester and Stroud in the south-west of the Cotswolds. It has an historic core with Church, Market House and many fine old buildings lining its High Street, which merges with Well Hill. No 2 is right at the top of the latter ideally placed for the town's shops and other facilities. The former include a general store, butcher, chemist and post office, the latter doctor's and dentists practices and community library. Minchinhampton is both a friendly and active little market town with a mixed age population due to its excellent Primary School and its location next to over 650 acres of Common, available for anyone to enjoy which include the cattle who graze it freely in the summer months and also visit the town! London is about 2 hours by road or just over 90 minutes from Stroud Station into Paddington and local residents also commute to Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Swindon from here. The town has three challenging golf courses, numerous clubs and societies and a prominent pub at its center, currently being re-furbished.
