I would like to think of myself as a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing, do not judge me by my cover as you will be amazed. You will be really surprised at the amount of space I offer, with a high level of finish throughout and features you normally wouldn't get so close to town!
My current owner has done a really fantastic job at making me a really lovely property. You enter in the front door into my living room which is well decorated with a lovely fireplace. Then, through to my kitchen which again is a good size with a range of units and space for a washing machine, a breakfast bar and an original working range cooker (which is a really unique feature). At the back of the kitchen there is then a small porch which leads out to the court yard and back door to the garage.
On to my 1st floor: Because my 1st floor goes over the side-access, it means upstairs is much larger than you might expect. My master bedroom is very spacious, with built-in wardrobes and TV unit. Then the house bathroom, which is stunning! It is a really great size, with separate shower and bath and generally a luxury feel. Finally, my second bedroom is a single room with room for a bed and storage units which would make an ideal children's bedroom, office or huge walk-in wardrobe.
Out to the rear I have a court yard with access to the back of the garage. You can access the garage from a shared drive/alley about 6 doors down the road, which means you can keep your car or motorbike off the street. This is a great feature for a property in the centre of town like myself. Especially if you have a pride and joy you would like to keep safe.
Fishergate is right in the heart of town (just around the corner from the town centre). Which means I am are just a stone's throw away from local shops, local pubs, restaurants and takeaways, cafes and more. In fact, The Crown Hotel on the corner has a gym, pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room as well, so there really is everything you need. Then, as you head out of town towards the A1 (Wetherby Road) there is a large Morrisons and petrol station (only a 3 minute drive or 10/15 minute walk). It is only 3/4 minutes to the A1(M) as well.
If you have a little one (or thinking your next property might need to consider a future little one) then I am in a great location for schools. I am a 5 minute walk from Boroughbridge Primary School, a 4 minute drive to Kirby Hill Primary School which has an outstanding ofsted report and then only a 10 minute walk or 2/3 minute drive to Boroughbridge High School.
Finally, Boroughbridge is approximately 30 minutes from York City Centre, 25 mins from Harrogate, 10/12 minutes from Ripon, 40 minutes from Leeds City Centre, 20 mins from Thirsk and 25 mins from Northallerton. Therefore, I am in a really fantastic location for commuting to several places for work with a huge range of options for days out.
