The front door is original, the windows are hardwood, all handmade in 2011 with handblown glass by Norgrove Studios. The house was built originally as an L Plan, thatched and with a turnpike stair in the re-entrant angle which serviced ground to attic floor. Signature of the originator Archbald Moffatt is in house documents and painted in the fanlight above the front door.
