Local Information
Mytholmroyd is a designated conservation area, with more than 21 listed buildings in the centre alone. The village is located approximately 1 mile from the centre of Hebden Bridge, and is often known to locals as 'Royd'. Famous for being the birth place of the Poet and Children’s writer Ted Hughes, Mytholmroyd now has a population of approximately 4000 people.
