The Neighbourhood
Canary Wharf is the newest financial district in London, one of the most modern and safest of the capital. You can find many parks, bars, restaurants, a shopping mall and great surroundings with beautiful views of skyscrapers and docks.
The apartment is 6 minutes away to Mudchute DLR station and Canary Wharf can be easily reached in 14 minutes.
You can find supermarkets and a few pubs and restaurants just a stone's throw away from the house.
Getting around
A 6 minutes' walk to Mudchute DLR Station, from where you can go directly to Bank Station in Central London in just 20 minutes.
From Bank Station you can change for Central, Northern, District and Circle Lines, so basically you can go anywhere from there: Camden Town, Notting Hill, Kensington High Street and Oxford Circus (great locations for shopping), Westminster (Houses of the Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye), Trafalgar Square, Harrods, etc.
You can reach Canary Wharf in 14 minutes, and from there you can go directly to London Bridge in just 8 minutes.

Take the London Underground at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 (Piccadilly Line) to Green Park Station and change for Jubilee Line to Canary Wharf.
From London City Airport:
