Situation Windrush is a pretty Cotswold village and derives its name from the river on which it stands. A small green, lined with trees leads to the church of St Peter and a majority of the houses in the village are built from local stone.

The village is about 4 miles west of Burford and half a mile from the A40 with Witney approximately 12 miles distant. There are no shops or pubs in the village but The Fox Inn at Barringtons Bridge lies about ¾ miles east.

Directions From the A40 roundabout at Burford proceed towards Cheltenham for approx 4 miles, until Windrush is signposted on your right hand side. Proceed into the village and the property will be found on your left, pass the church on the right and the village green.
