We were moving out of London and we loved the fact that this house was in a semi rural location yet was still commutable. We looked at quite a few houses but this one really stood out as it had been extended, so was a lot bigger than other we had viewed and it had a utility room with a shower as well as a cloakroom WC and a good size garden. The house needed updating, so we got to work straight away and have completely refurbished it.

We really love the good size kitchen and dining areas, it is a great place to entertain. When landscaping the gardens we put in a decking area at the end of the garden to get the sun late into the evening and it has wonderful views of the local countryside. It really is the perfect place to relax on a summer's evening. This is a lovely place to live, it is so peaceful and quiet yet still has great transport connections. Everything you need is nearby and the countryside is literally on your doorstep.
