The property is accessed via a wrap-around composite deck with door into the kitchen area and two sets of french doors into the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with high gloss wall and base units incorporating a breakfast bar and incorporating electric fan-assisted oven, gas hob (with extractor hood over), integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer and a fridge/freezer. Beyond the kitchen is a spacious living area with a feature electric fire and television and satellite points and a wonderful outlook onto the Mendip Hills. Outside the site is approached via an electric gate leading into the site. Set in a small hamlet on the outskirts of Wells. Wells is the smallest city in England and offers a vibrant high street with a variety of independent shops and restaurants as well as a twice weekly market and a choice of supermarkets including Waitrose. At the very heart of the city is the medieval Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and Vicars’ Close (reputed to be the oldest surviving residential street in Europe).Bristol and Bath lie c. 22 miles to the north and north-east respectively with mainline train stations to London at Castle Cary (c.11 miles) as well as Bristol and Bath. Bristol International Airport is c.15 miles to the north-west. Of particular note is the variety of well-regarded schools in both the state and private sectors in Wells and the surrounding area.
From Wells take the A371 Cheddar Road. On entering the village of Haybridge the site entrance can be found on the left hand side. On entering the site follow the road around to the left and the lodge can be found on the right hand side
