On the Western Edge (and outside the sssi) are the ruins of Cadlees Farm with beautiful hand cut Gwespyr sandstone corner blocks visible on some corners (Gwespyr is famed worldwide for its top quality stone quarried in quantity from Roman times and shipped all around the world. "Gwespyr Stone" as it became known had a fine grain and colour also a remarkable quality of cutting and shaping) and also a useful 600 square foot corrugated iron building. There is extensive concreting around the corrugated iron building and some associated structures because it was the site of Trelogan Coal Yard which operated for 90 years until approximately 2006. On the Eastern side of the property is a ruined lead miners cottage sited to have stunning views
