Hampton Fields is a hamlet immediately south-east of the historic town of Minchinhampton on the way to Tetbury, opposite Gatcombe Park. Little more than a row of mainly period properties, it is both rural and peaceful yet less than a mile from Minchinhampton, which has excellent services. These include a range of shops, doctors and dentists surgeries, a popular primary school and its Golf Club, whose two challenging courses are used as qualifiers for The Open.
