Referencing

All adults are required to undergo referencing through a commercial referencing company who will report to the landlord the suitability of the applicant. The tenant applicant will need to complete an initial short basic application form and supply id and reference documents to the landlord/agent after which the referencing company will contact the applicant directly to complete the process (usually by completing a more-detailed on-line form). The referencing company will also contact the applicant's employer to verify their employment status and income and it is essential to prevent delays that the applicant gives their personnel / hr department advance notice of the enquiry and gives permission to release the information. Where an applicant fails referencing a suitable guarantor may be acceptable.

Rent direct from landlord.
