The apartment has an area of just over 1000 sqft (just under 100 sqm) and hosts on the entrance level a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a larger shared bathroom, a large living room with an open plan kitchen as well as a storage area under the stairs and two bedrooms upstairs.

The apartment is in a converted church building and has beautiful vaulted ceilings lined with exposed wooden beams in the living room and the two bedrooms upstairs (more than 8 metres at the highest spot). All rooms have underfloor heating. The living room also has a large church window, so the room is flooded with light during the day. Together with the high ceilings, the entire apartment feels very airy, spacious and bright. The windows in the living room and the master bedroom face the church courtyard, but you cannot see inside from the outside due to the construction and because the flat is located one level above ground. There is a bike locker at the entrance area and a parking lot next to the church.

Transport

You can take the Central line from Stratford or the Victoria line from Highbury & Islington to get into Central London). You can get to anywhere in Central London in 20 to 30 minutes.

The flat and nearby stops are in Zone 2 and there are great connections via to Stratford and central London via Overground, buses, and there is also a night bus route. The bus stop St Mary of Eton Church is right outside the entrance and the bus stop Hackney Wick / Trowbridge Road is less than a 3-minute walk away. The Overground station Hackney Wick is an 8-minute walk from the apartment.

The Neighborhood
The church complex is fairly quiet, but there are services on Sunday and sometimes other activities (which you don't notice from inside the apartment). Sometimes, you can faintly hear the organ play in the living room.
Hackney Wick also hosts several large craft beer breweries, serving great food and drinks and the option to sit outside when the weather is nice.

The Area
Victoria Park and the Olympic Park are a 10-minute walk away. In the Olympic Park, you also find the Olympic Aquatic Centre and the Copper Box (10 minutes walking distance), for which you can purchase individual as well as combined gym memberships.
