Chesham can be described as having one foot in London and the other in Buckinghamshire.
Lively and colourful, it has a cosmopolitan air yet shares Buckinghamshire's most prized features: The inspiring countryside, the rare peace and the ancient feel of England's traditions.
Smart and increasingly well served by familiar High Street shops, Chesham's independent retailers provide everything residents need. A quality butcher, housewares shop, chemist and baker complement the coffee shops and supermarkets.
Known locally for its schools (prep school and grammar school) the wide expanses of the country are no more than five minutes' drive from the centre.
The dual identity of Chesham makes it an informed choice for those leaving urban centres but wishing to remain connected to the hum and variety the larger town brings.
When you agree to take a tenancy of a property through Hadlands, we'll require the following:
A holding charge of £300.00 which enables us to withdraw the property from the market. This will be deducted from the first rent payment at the beginning of the let and is non- refundable if the tenancy does not commence.
A referencing fee of £120.00 per person. Should a guarantor be required the fee is £120.00.
Once successfully referenced, a minimum security deposit equivalent to one and a half month's rent is required, along with one month's rent paid in advance.
Our administration for setting up the Tenancy is £120.00. The cost of extending the Tenancy is £90.00.
The Landlord will pay for the inventory clerk to carry out a check in. When you leave the property, a check out will be carried out - the cost of which will be deducted from your security deposit.
