A two bedroom apartment on the ground floor of an end-of-terrace Victorian conversion. Room sizes are generous throughout, you have a dedicated front door and large communal garden. Outside, the wonderfully wide open green space of Wanstead Flats is less than five minutes walk away.
Stratford - with the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Westfield shopping centre and comprehensive transport links of Stratford station - is just a ten minute bus ride.
If you lived here
You'll be enjoying almost 600 square feet of living space with each room offering the generous proportions of the period. The kitchen/diner is especially impressive; over 150 square feet for cooking and socialising. Along with the 140 square feet lounge you have an excellent set of entertaining options.
Design & Decor contemporary with vintage exposed brick in the master bedroom.
Your local transport choices are just as varied; Wanstead Park Station is just a third of a mile on foot for trains to Gospel Oak and Barking. Five minutes further on is Forest Gate Station, for fast, direct runs to Bond Street and Liverpool Street (with the arrival of Crossrail those journeys will take just nineteen and twelve minutes respectively).
What else?
- You're well served for local schools, with five primary/secondaries nearby, all rated 'Good' or better by Ofsted and including the 'Outstanding' Forest Gate Community School.
- At 172 years, the lease won't give you any renewal worries.
- Just a couple of minutes walk is the Wanstead Tap, an independent cafe, bar and performance space that's well worth a look.
A word from the ower....
"Our flat has been a really wonderful home for us for the past few years. Spacious and airy rooms and lots of natural lights throughout the flat makes it refreshing every time we are home. We've got quiet nice neighbours on other flats in the building. It's very close to Wanstead Park overground station (5 mins walk) and Forest Gate rail station (9 mins walk), with crossrail coming soon. The bus stop is just across the street and it will get you to Stratford in 10 mins. We usually like walking to Wanstead flats which takes about 4 mins. Nice local shops and restaurants are located near Forest Gate station. We recommend Aroma Indian restaurant which is our go-to place for weekends. We would definitely miss the enormous kitchen where we always dine in. The only reason we are selling is to expand our family and we would just like more bedrooms. We hope the new owner would love and take care of the flat as much as we do."
