Affectionately called the Capital of the Kentish Weald, Cranbrook looks and feels much as it has done for centuries: A peaceful small town of weatherboarded houses, surrounded by orchards and farmland. Cranbrook is a small town in Kent which is located on the Maidstone to Hastings road. In medieval times, Cranbrook was a centre of the Wealden cloth industry and iron-making was carried on at Bedgebury on the River Teise. The church here was dedicated to St Dunstan.
