The immediate area is very rural but Swindon, Hungerford, Newbury, Didcot, Oxford and Cirencester are all within an easy drive.

Oxfordshire and West Berkshire are renowned for excellent schooling with a wide choice within striking distance, including prep schools at Pinewood, St Hugh’s, Cothill House, The Manor, The Dragon and Summerfields. Public schools within easy reach include St Helens and Katherine’s, Abingdon School, Radley College, Marlborough College, St Mary’s Calne and St Edwards.
