NewHome4U are pleased to bring to the market this stunning two double bedroom detached bungalow that sits in the quiet village of Cymau, it really is a real haven of tranquillity offering peaceful living in an easily maintained package. Nestled in-between one other similar home and a churchyard, noisy neighbours need never again be a consideration…..
We approach the double fronted home via a concrete driveway with mature shrubs to our left masking the beautiful stone wall and an attractively laid out front garden to our right, with a large lawn and various mature trees, surrounded by intricate borders of shrubs and flowers . The drive continues past the home towards the detached garage at the far rear.
A small step leads us up to the black PVC front door with its decorative glass insert mirrored by similarly patterned window panels to either side, allowing light to flood in, just like a Tetley tea bag does the flavour. This opens into the broad hallway with its beautiful solid wood floor and from here, to our left we enter the lounge.
This is a very attractive room indeed; kept bright by its large bay window overlooking the pretty front garden, large enough to be comfortable but not so large as to feel overwhelming and made even more welcoming by the lovely marble fireplace with its log burning stove….To guarantee toastie toes during the harshest of winters.
Opposite here on the other side of the hall is the front facing bedroom. Of a similar size to the lounge, this is a luxurious place to relax and the ease with which it accommodates a large free standing wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table, double bed with twin bedside tables - none of which will be staying sadly - while still leaving a generous amount of unused floor space only serves to accentuate this. Its large picture window overlooks the front garden and keeps the room light and cheerful (well it put a smile on my face).
Returning to the hall, we notice that all the internal doors are all identical and very attractive in their solid wood finish, which I felt, adds an undeniable sense of class to the home. To the rear we find the back bedroom.
This was originally the same size as the front one but has been slightly compromised by the addition of an en-suite shwer. However it is a tribute to the initial size that this has still left a very comfortably sized room, with a full suite of free standing furniture while finding the space for an en-suite worthy of the name. This is not some cramped apology of a room, rather a virtually full sized and beautifully appointed bathroom containing a lavatory, hand basin and large walk in shower cubicle with a power shower fed directly from the mains.
Next door to here is the bathroom. This is obviously virtually new and features a contemporary suite of hand basin, lavatory and a modern take on a free standing roll top bath with centrally mounted taps.
A large airing cupboard is also found off he hall, containing not only storage for linen but the massive pressurised hot water tank.
The last door in the hall takes us into the kitchen/diner and this is little short of a revelation. The solid wood floor continues in here adding to the charm. To our left is the ‘U’ shaped kitchen, not only well thought out but a thing of beauty. Quality units hide the integrated fridge and dishwasher and are topped with solid marble worktops that further extend into the bay of the window. The cooker is also integrated into the worktop, the end of which curves round making this area feel inclusive to the rest of this lovely room. Opposite this is the dining area. Unlike many kitchen/diners, this is easily big enough to fulfil both roles in style, before we even come to the best bit. Where are all the best parties held? In the kitchen, so why not make it comfortable?
Through an archway we find a sitting room big enough for chairs and a settee, beside a large set of French patio doors leading onto an area of decking from where we can admire the pretty garden, with its ornamental pond and views across the fields. There is also another door to the storage room, containing all the ‘stuff’ you want hiding away and also a large fridge/freezer for any overspill from the main fridge in the kitchen.
Returning outside, there is a side door into the garage which is a full sized space, with light, power and water, housing the washing machines and the virtually brand new oil fired central heating boiler. To the end of the room are two further doors, one concealing a lavatory, the other more storage space; as if any were needed…..
The back garden is larger than you would imagine but not so large as to become a millstone around the neck of those with less interest. It is laid to lawn and areas of shrubbery and some small mature trees, managing to be interesting, attractive but above all, manageable. The view from here is of a large field with the tree line in the distance and with several horses in permanent residence. As I said, peace and tranquillity yet all achieved with no effort from yourself – perfect.

All in all this is a golden opportunity for someone with specific needs. It offers an ideal home for a downsizing couple, having ample space for the visiting children and grand-children, yet remains sufficiently low maintenance to allow you to enjoy your time without becoming a slave to the home. It is in utterly outstanding condition and has been fitted out to the very highest of standards. When moving to a new home it is always tempting to place your own stamp upon it but here it really is not necessary. If you can find fault with any of the stylistic choices made here already, I would be very surprised and I am usually highly critical. This one will sell quickly and is well worth some of your time to have a look, so what are you waiting for….Call us now
