Property description

An immaculate detached bungalow set on the fringes of this popular village awaits one lucky owner. Pull up and take advantage of plenty of off road parking. Having a garage here is also a welcome bonus.

The hall sets the tone for the pristine condition throughout, you will definitely want to take off your shoes before stepping onto the immaculate cream carpets! The huge lounge is a fantastic space and has more than enough room for a sofa or two. Large patio doors and windows invite you out in to the rear garden.

A recently re-fitted kitchen/dining area is equally impressive and will definitely wow guests. Solid wood surfaces enhance the character. All the appliances you would expect are in here too. Plenty of natural light is allowed in through dual aspect windows.

The property offers flexible accommodation: Whilst there are three bedrooms, not all would actually need to be used as such. The third could easily be a study if required. Bedroom one has a beautiful en-suite shower room to leave you invigorated for the day ahead. The second bedroom is a comfortable double bedroom too. The main bathroom is the perfect place for relaxation after a gruelling day. A spacious rear garden completes the billing and what a space to sit out in with a coffee and morning paper, bought from one of the local shops in the village centre.

As well as the choice of shops, there are a plethora of restaurants and cafes. Not to mention the main line train station with great links to London.

What the Owner says:
We bought the house because we loved the size of the lounge, which is perfect for entertaining, and because it had three double bedrooms and the two bathrooms,
ideal for when friends or family come to stay. It’s handy to be able to walk into the village for the shops. The back garden is a real sun trap because the bungalow casts little shade.
In 2004 the property had a minor case of subsidence caused by some large trees very near to the back of the house. The trees were removed and the cracks were repaired with resin bonding and expanded metal bars.
The subsidence has not recurred since the remedial work was completed.
