Property Description

Detailed Description

A modern and well presented two bedroom detached bungalow, situated in Strode Park Road within easy reach of the many shops and amenities in the thriving sea side town of Herne Bay.

The property has seen numerous improvements in recent years, including rewiring, new radiators, a combination boiler, and the installation of a modern kitchen and bathroom.

The front door opens into a spacious central entrance hall with engineered wood flooring leading to all rooms. An L shaped living and dining room with twin aspect double glazed windows overlooks the pretty front garden. An attractive addition to the room is the solid stone fireplace and hearth.

The kitchen has recently been fitted with a range of shaker style wall and floor units with wood effect work surfaces over. There is space for a fridge freezer, a freestanding gas cooker with a stainless steel extractor over and plumbing for a washing machine. A double glazed side door leads to an internal vestibule with large storage cupboard; a further double glazed door leads on to the rear garden.

To the rear of the property are two double bedrooms, a good sized master bedroom and a further bedroom which has ample built in storage.

The bathroom and separate WC are modern and are fitted with a white suite. The bathroom is fully tiled; the bath has the benefit of a recently installed electric shower over.

Outside

At the front of the property, the garden has a wealth of flower and shrub borders. A driveway to the side provides parking and leads to a single detached garage at the rear.

The secluded rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with a variety of mature flowers and shrubs. There is a good sized patio in addition to a separate seating area with far reaching views over the nearby farmland.
